Students recently approved for a transfer to Ballard:
If you were recently approved for a transfer to Ballard, we still need some information from you. Please fill out a schedule request form and enrollment form (found under documents and resources) and return them to Ballard (or scan and email them to firstname.lastname@example.org).
Scheduling sessions for incoming freshmen were a great success. If you were unable to attend one of the sessions and you live in our resides area or were accepted into Ballard through Open Enrollment or one of our career theme programs, please complete an enrollment form, schedule request form and provide us with a copy of a CURRENT proof of address. The enrollment form and schedule request form are located under the documents and resources tab on this website. REMINDER: Students accepted under Open Enrollment do not receive bus transportation.
Technology Test for Incoming Freshmen Coming From NON-JCPS Middle Schools: There are 3 dates during the summer that non-JCPS students can take the 8th grade technology test. You must call the number below and schedule the test for one of those dates. The test will NOT be at Ballard. Students who pass the test will have met the technology proficiency graduation requirement and will not have to take a technology class in high school (although they still can). The dates are June 22, July 10th, OR July 24th. You must call 485-3010 and leave your email address on the voicemail. They will contact you with further instructions.
Summer School for PE/Health or Visual Art: Forms are available under the documents and resources tab for anyone wanting to take PE/Health or Visual Art during the summer.
Current Ballard Students: Finish the year out STRONG! You want to have the best GPA you can possibly have at the end of each semester. If you anticipate failing a required class, talk to your teacher about credit recovery options. If you wind up failing a course and credit recovery is not possible, contact your counselor about JCPS Summer School or eSchool options.
